HO (1/87) Hamlet Bank Kit

HO (1/87) Scale Hamlet Bank Kit

This kit is modeled after a bank building in Hamlet, Nebraska. Although it has since been converted into a home, it served the community's banking needs for many decades. The building would be equally suitable used for a variety of store front businesses as it is very typical of early 1900 brick construction found across the United States.

*As a side note: this bank was reported to have been robbed in the 1920's by a man who was subsequently chased down by a group of vigilante farmers who pursued him over winding county roads in their Model T's until they finally apprehended the would be bank robber and recovered their stolen cash.

This kit's walls and roof come cast as one super detailed piece that has the brick, wood siding, tar paper and corrugated roofing details already cast in place. In addition the brick chimney, roof vent, stove pipe, and meter box details are also cast in place.

This kit consists of:

  •  A beautifully detailed one piece resin bank building casting that has a brick front with wood sided addition.

  •  A one piece 2 door outhouse casting.

  •  Grandt Line windows and doors

  • Window glazing material laser cut to fit precisely into the window frames... no cutting and fitting required!

  • 5 piece Small Town Sidewalk set ($6.50 retail value)

  • Awning (1 piece)

  • 1 "Bank" sign casting

  • Stencil and signage.

  • Vehicles  and landscape materials NOT included
