HO (1/87) Scale Hamlet Bank Kit
This kit is modeled after a bank building in Hamlet, Nebraska.
Although it has since been converted into a home, it served the community's
banking needs for many decades. The building would be equally suitable used for
a variety of store front businesses as it is very typical of early 1900 brick
construction found across the United States.
*As a side note: this bank was reported
to have been robbed in the 1920's by a man who was subsequently chased down by a
group of vigilante farmers who pursued him over winding county roads in their
Model T's until they finally apprehended the would be bank robber and recovered
their stolen cash.
